Iron Studios replicates the Apollo 11 astronaut in a new statue!
On the cold and desolate terrain of the lunar surface, like a knight in shining armor, the figure of the cosmic traveler marks one of the most important moments in human history. Dressed in his white sophisticated space suit, which includes a complex system of garments, equipment, and environmental systems designed to keep him alive and comfortable in the extreme and dangerous environment of outer space, he proudly stands behind the mirrored visor of his helmet. He raises his left arm in a salute, in respect and greeting the world and his nation, while holding the flag of the United States of America in his right hand, ready to plant it in the ground to mark his presence. Iron Studios proudly presents the statue "Apollo 11 Astronaut - Art Scale 1/10", meticulously reproducing one of the astronauts from the American mission that took man to the Moon. A big step for Iron Studios, a giant leap for collecting!
In July 1969, during the manned spaceflight Apollo 11, astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed the Lunar Module Eagle, with Armstrong becoming the first human to set foot on the lunar surface, followed by Aldrin. Michael Collins piloted the Command and Service Module Columbia alone in lunar orbit while his companions were on the surface. They collected material to bring back to Earth. The mission was launched on the Saturn V rocket from the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida, being the fifth manned mission of NASA's Apollo program. Broadcast live worldwide on TV, Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface and spoke the famous words: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Apollo 11 ended the Space Race and achieved the national goal set in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy to land a man on the Moon and return him safely to Earth before the end of the decade. The three astronauts were met with huge celebrations in the United States and around the world, receiving numerous honors and awards.
